Update: The suspect caught on tape has been identified as 44-year-old Lawrence Reginald Barrett. The suspect was identified on a tip.

Previously: A computer store theft in Evansville was caught on tape Monday.

It happened around 12:00 p.m. Monday at PC Quest on Division Street in Evansville. While one man talked to the sales manager, his partner is seen in the showroom putting an expensive laptop computer under his sweatshirt.

He walks right in front of a surveillance camera.
